Gail Aidinoff Scovell

Scovell began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima and then as a tax associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton where she also served as pro bono counsel to organizations involved in education, housing, and environmental conservation. 

Scovell is currently a member of the Nonprofit Forum and the Leadership Council of IOBY (In Our Back Yard).  She has previously served on the Advisory Board of the National Center on Philanthropy, the Nonprofit Organizations Committee and the Art Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association, and the Steering Committee for ALI-ABA Course of Study, Legal Problems in Museum Administration.

Scovell graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
